A Message From Dr. T:

I am honored that you have chosen me as your primary care physician. I want to share some information about my practice with you. I have dedicated my life to serving my patients, and I truly value your trust.

Our Practice – Your Partner In Health:

This is a solo-practice, meaning I am the only doctor and I have one full-time medical assistant. I see every patient and perform all procedures myself, as opposed to ancillary staff or technicians. Together, we work to make your experience with us more personal, and our goal is to provide the highest quality of care to all of our patients in a timely and respectful manner.

I do my best to maintain a traditional style practice and strive to develop a trusting relationship with you. I take your health very seriously, and truly aim to be your Partner in Health. It is through this partnership that you and I work together to achieve your ultimate health and well-being.

The Solo-Practice Difference:

A typical primary care physician in a large practice may see up to 20+ patients a day, averaging only 7-10 minutes in the exam room with each patient. This means that patients are double booked/over booked. Many providers are not satisfied with this reality, but are limited in their options due to health care legislation and insurance bureaucracy.

I have chosen to operate my solo-practice differently; meaning our office only accepts a limited number of patients. While we do reserve daily appointments for acute illness, our office is proud to schedule a limited number of patients per day. We do not overbook or double book patients, so your appointment time is reserved for your needs. I am able to provide a more in-depth, individualized, and whole-body care experience for each person this way. Not over-scheduling appointments means I am able to spend more time with you, to help discover the root of any ailments and develop a comprehensive health plan together.

NO LONGER ACCEPTING New Patients into our Direct Physician Care Membership:

In order to maintain our high level of thorough, personalized care for our patients, we have transitioned to a Direct Physician Care practice. We are excited to accept new patients into our membership program or pay per service appointments.

**Please note that our practice does not contract with insurance companies, and we do not accept insurance.

We realize that several health insurance companies may have provided you with inaccurate and outdated information, and may have me listed as your new primary care physician on your insurance cards for 2019. I sincerely apologize for this inconvenience that their error has caused.

If you are seeking to establish care with me as your new primary care physician because I was listed on your insurance card, you will need to contact your insurance company directly to find an in-network physician that is accepting new patients.

In Closing:

Thank you for entrusting me with your care. I look forward to continuing to provide you with the care you expect and deserve.

Your Partner In Health,

Christine Tymczyna, D.O.
